Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and hands-on experience in the crusher/heavy equipment industry. The ideal candidate should have worked on design and development of crushing equipment and related assemblies. Experience with OEMs such as John Deere will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Work on crusher equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, and screening systems.
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Perform design validation, tolerance stack-up, and basic engineering calculations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
• Modify and optimize existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
• Support prototype development and testing activities.
• Manage engineering documentation and revisions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Drawing).
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in the crusher or heavy machinery industry.
• Hands-on experience in design of crushing equipment or similar heavy equipment.
• Good understanding of fabrication, welding, and machining processes.
• Experience in BOM creation and PLM/PDM systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with companies like John Deere.
• Experience in mobile crusher systems or tracked equipment.
• Knowledge of FEA tools (ANSYS or similar) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to global engineering standards (ISO, ASME).

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
