- As a Sr. Design Engineer Electrical, plays a key role in the delivery of high-quality Electrical design solutions across building services projects including commercial, healthcare and mission-critical Data Centers. Operating under limited supervision, taking ownership of defined project tasks and leading projects from concept through to completion.
- Take ownership of defined electrical design packages and manage mid-to-large projects independently.
- Preparation of project schedule & effort estimation.
- Lead & support electrical design tasks, including calculations, schematics, layouts, and equipment selection, schedules etc.,
- Prepare, maintain and organize the project design files like Desing Basis report, Specifications, Calculations reports, ensuring adherence to company standards and documentation practices.
- Electrical design with BIM Project management, as well as MEP Coordination duties that include checking & reviewing of all delivery submissions, Team supervision, etc.
- Design work includes low and medium voltage power distribution systems, motor control circuits, raceway systems, Bus bar system, cable tray system, fire alarm systems, underground utility plans, interior and outdoor lighting systems, Lightning protection systems, Earthing Design, Short circuit calculation, Energy Compliance, panel board and distribution board schedules.
- SCADA and PMS system design, PV system design.
- Provide technical verification and QA checks during design stages, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Proficient in IEC, TIA, FM200, NEC, BS, EN, IS, NEC and NFPA codes and standards.
- Ability to work on ETAP & SKM or equivalent load flow analysis software (for arc flash, short circuit, etc.)
- Preparation of Technical specifications, Bill of quantity, Cost Estimation and compliance statements.
- Strong expertise on standardization of BIM production workflow with better quality control processes.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and BIM teams to resolve issues and maintain cross-functional alignment.
