SKILLS/TOOLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED	A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience designing Special purpose machines/ Harvesting equipment design. SolidWorks
MUST REQUIRED SKILLS	SolidWorks experience. Product design/ Machine design Ability to apply GD & T and evaluate assembly tolerances.

JOB DESCRIPTION (YOUR TASKS):

Responsibilities:

1. Contributes to the Delivery of a Mechanical design outputs, in compliance with the Engineering QCD commitments.
2. Understands and applies on project NPD and Engineering Change development procedures.
3. Develop conceptual designs for customer or sales and quoting
4. Executes his/her tasks/ activity reviews for the project he/she is in charge.
5. Good understanding on transforming customer requirement to design intent.
6. Supports leads in Design / Verification reviews and provides the associated reports.
7. Contributes thought process well in individual as well as larger team meetings, and in dealings with related stakeholders – internal customers and fellow team members.
8. Under guidance follow appropriate Project Documentation as per ISO/ Regulatory/Project Standards.

Required Skills

1. Proficiency in Solidworks and exposure to Epdm platform to create and validate 3D and 2D designs.
2. Good mechanical engineering basics, with ability to work Industrial Automation Machines/SPM Machine design/ Harvest equipment design

– Precision Machine design

– Part selection for Electromechanical Machine design

– End effector designs for robots

– Integration of Cameras and Lasers

3. Good Knowledge on strength of materials and basic hand calculation.
4. Ability to create Functional Dimensioning requirements to create concept, detailed design and manufacturing drawings.
5. Able to perform basic calculation on all type of mechanical assemblies.
6. Ability to analyze non-conformity and to contribute a back-up solution.
7. Ability to Size and select off the self-components and validating for design requirements.
8. Knowledge of manufacturing process.
9. Ability to work under minimum supervision.

Candidates with below skill set will be given preference:

1. Soldiworks.
2. Product design/ Machine design
3. Ability to apply GD & T and evaluate assembly tolerances.
