The client is a North American company in the corporate Trailer business, known for world-class product development for the trailer industry. The client specializes in various kinds of trailers for all kinds of applications like agriculture, defense and road paving industry.
Scope / Challenge:
The scope of the project involved Development of sliding axle trailer from concept to detailed design to proto to sustenance of it as per customer provided PO/benchmarked design, standard process and specifications. The design had to be carried out with data captured from the existing parts/assemblies and develop the model to minimize cost and quick assembly time.
Solution:
The TAAL Tech team started the project with a thorough input study and analysis of customer requirements. The team carried out the sizing of actual parts and developed the concept in CATIA V5/3D-Experience and submitted the same for customer evaluation. Upon the receipt of the approval the detailed design and detailing were carried out as per the standards, guidelines and libraries available with us. The main model consists of individual parts, sub assembly and assembly with manufacturing drawings creation, DXF and Procurement details till the Manufacturing. Deliverables includes 3D models, Manufacturing drawing, Part list with Self, Peer & Final QC.
Result:
