TAAL Technologies is committed to
giving back to the society particularly around empowerment
of the underprivileged.
“Shiksha for All” is an initiative that aims to
provide financial assistance to students from economically
weaker sections of the society. We have hand-picked a few
schools in the rural areas around Bangalore and distribute
necessities for education such as books, bags, and
stationery among poor students. We also select the best
performing students in each class and provide them annual
study scholarships under our Rising Star Scholarship
program.
TAAL Technologies encourages and facilitates various
coaching and training programs in rural schools and
colleges. These initiatives are primarily run over weekends
and holidays. Our employees conduct free vocational training
programs on subjects such as computer literacy, spoken
English, etc. “One Day at School” is another initiative
where our employees visit schools for poor children and
interact with students in a bid to understand first-hand
their aspiration and needs to enable us channel our funds
and efforts in the right direction.
All our initiatives are driven by our employees and the
funds to support them are collected as a small percentage of
their salaries. Contributions above the mandatory deductions
can be made by individuals voluntarily. Our CEO and top
management have always contributed higher amounts as have
several of our generous engineers. |
